2019-2020 STAT Innovation Awards

With astounding creativity and ingenuity, science educators inspire students to discover the world through science in classrooms across Texas every day. In the spirit of collaboration and curiosity, the Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT) is proud to announce the 2019-2020 STAT Innovation Awards. This new award program will recognize the best and brightest science initiatives in Texas while also offering solutions to the resource challenges besetting science instruction in our state.

Four STAT Innovation Awards, up to $5,000 each, will be presented to purchase materials and resources to implement or sustain an innovative science education program or initiative. Award funds will be presented to the recipient’s school rather than to the individual educator or group of educators.

Applications are due Sept. 16, 2019.
